Dental Assisting and COVID-19
At the Dental Assisting Academy of the Palm Beaches we are taking the COVID-19 announcements seriously. We have taken the standard precaution to make sure that our faculty, staff and students are cared for during this time. We have always taken the standard precaution of hand washing and surface cleanings, and now making sure that it is a forward thought and effort to prevent the spread of the virus.
We would like to ensure that our top priority is the safety of our students. We have made modifications to the methods of learning without compromising any education that is received as a student. We will now be having lectures online, mailing out student packets for information, and showing all virtual labs.
As a team, Miss Marina and Miss Kennedy, have constructed new methods to help the students during this time. Once, COVID-19 educational restrictions are lifted students will begin to be engaged back with clinicals and on-campus training. The expected time frame, April 15th, which follows with the Palm Beach County School District.
Please stay safe and continue to take precautions necessary. Remember to help those in need and remain calm during this time.
